Certified nursing assistant are skills that revolve around the care giving attitude. They are concerned with giving direct concern to the helping humanity. Mainly nurse’s area of interest are feeding, bathing, dressing, preparing beds for patients, helping ambulation, in case of wheelchair assist patients in that too, taking all emergency calls.

The most courageous area in the certified nursing is “hospice”. They deal with deaths. At hospitals, some patients reach the critical level of their illness and their lives may end at any moment. Few brave heart people go for this area. Though the care and the concern one can give to patients at that level is praise worthy, but it requires utmost patience and endurance, therefore only few nurses adopt this area. While many others choose to become the part of general nursing assistant programs.

Red Cross is engaged in devising the proper training and development needs for the certified nursing. There is a need to learn some communication skills, nursing strategies, understanding basic human anatomy and how to look after critical patients.
