A CNA or Certified nursing assistant is a person who is trained to assist individuals with their daily healthcare needs and as well as with their regular day-to-day activities. Nursing assistants typically have to work under the supervision of a registered nurse and are required to undergo training in all basic nursing procedures. Nursing assistants play an important role in health care facilities. CNA training classes are a requirement for nursing assistants before they are certified to practice. These skills indicate a nursing assistant’s preparedness and ability to handle the needs of patients.
